Case Management Guidance for Disease Outbreak – Iraq Child Protection Sub-Cluster Situations where Access to Affected Communities in and outside of Camps is Limited

This guidance provides a short overview of the CP risks associated with disease outbreak. It also provides practical steps and actions for child protection case management actors to follow in order to prepare for the impacts of disease outbreak and the subsequent impact to access to children and their caregivers in and outside of IDP and refugee camps, based on the scenario that access may become limited by measures taken to prevent and control the spread of infectious disease.

Child Protection Case Management Guidance during COVID 19 – Somalia

GBV Case Management and the COVID-19 Pandemic

This note aims to provide practical support to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) practitioners to adapt GBV case management service delivery models quickly and ethically during the current COVID-19 pandemic. Given the increase in reports of GBV, ensuring that women and girls can access GBV support services remains a critical and lifesaving activity. At the same time, maintaining the health and wellbeing of GBV case workers and contributing to rigorous efforts to stop the pandemic are of critical concern, presenting a challenge to traditional modes of GBV service delivery.

The Cost of Case Management in Orphans and Vulnerable Children Programs Results from a Mixed-Methods, Six-Country Study

MEASURE Evaluation worked with six OVC projects in six countries to gain insight on current approaches to OVC case management, map how costs can be linked to OVC case management activities, and determine the cost of OVC case management. To further inform and strengthen our understanding of the cost data, the study also qualitatively explored the context of the community workers' experiences related to OVC case management.

Promoting Successful Transitions Beyond Institutional Care: A programme-based service delivery model linked to a case management system

This paper reports on findings from an evaluation study of two institutions providing transition programmes to adolescent girls transitioning from institutional care in Zimbabwe. The study sought to determine gaps between the actual services being delivered and the expected performance standards, and how this affects the achievement of sustainable livelihoods. These gaps can be overcome by the development of a programme-based transition model and case management system.
