Cultural Competence: Workforce Resource

There are oftentimes insufficient staff and training resources to address racial disproportionality and disparity that can exist in child protection services. This article presents three models for culturally competent management practice, related planning and implementation strategies, and the costs, benefits, and challenges associated with this type of systemic change.
