Strengthening the Workforce to Support Community Living and Participation for Older Adults and People with Disabilities: Proceedings of a workshop

This report is a summary of a workshop aimed to identify how the health care workforce can be strengthened to support both community living and community participation for adults with disabilities and older adults. The workshop featured invited presentations and discussions that: explored the needed workforce, including coordination within and between the workforce and individuals in the community; focused on enhancing quality in the workforce through education, metrics, and standards; identified how technology can support the workforce; and discussed additional research, data, and policy needs.
