There are many ways to engage with the Alliance and members from around the globe throughout the year. The Alliance hosts many events as well as shares information on events taking place globally of interest to the social service workforce.
The 4th annual Social Service Workforce Week 2017 is being celebrated this week, September 25 – 29. The week is an opportunity to raise awareness and increase engagement and interest in workforce strengthening initiatives. Themed blogs, worker profiles and related resources will be shared each day on the theme of why we need to advocate for a stronger workforce to help achieve the SDGs on violence, migration and health. Tools for advocating for the workforce will also be shared for individuals and groups to share common messages for doing so. We encourage you to share these materials with colleagues.
The Alliance maintains an online calendar of events of upcoming conferences relevant to the social service workforce. Members are invited to submit upcoming conference information through the online form for inclusion on this calendar.
