There are several ways you can become more involved in initiatives to strengthen the social service workforce and engage with Alliance members around the world.
Become a Member
The Alliance is a diverse, open network of more than 2,900 individual members across 147 countries who support efforts to strengthen the social service workforce. We invite you to take a look at our member benefits and become a member. As a member you will recieve and be able to contribute to the latest resources, events, and advocacy materials related to social service workforce strengthening as well as be able to engage with other members through our events, interest groups and member directory.
Participate in Events
The Alliance hosts many events—including our annual symposium, Social Service Workforce Week and topic-focused webinars. We also share information on other events taking place globally that are relevant to the social service workforce. Take part in Alliance-sponsored events or view our calendar of other events for the social service workforce.
Engage with Other Members
Connect and engage with other members by name, organization or country in our member directory. After logging in, you can view the profiles of members and message individual members in order to network and discuss topics of mutual interest. Members are encouraged to keep their profiles up-to-date to allow for maximum engagement and can include a headshot as part of their profile.
Contribute Resources and Content
It is only through contributions from our members, partners and supporters that we can build a global evidence base of promising practices to strengthen the social service workforce worldwide. If you have a resource or tool for inclusion in our resource database or would like to contribute to our blog, please contact us.
Participate in Interest Groups
The Alliance hosts interest groups as a way for members to come together to address specific challenges within social service workforce strengthening. Previous interest groups have focused on advocacy and outreach, case management, paraprofessionals and supervision. You must first be a member before you can join interest groups.
